I seem to be getting worse at updating this thing :/
My excuse is that work is busy as I usually update this at work, but that is probably a bad excuse to use as I should be working at work, but you get that :)

Just over a week and a half ago was State Youth Games. If you don’t know what SYG is, it is a weekend where churches from north of Perth to Albany get together in Bunbury and play sports.
I was with Subiaco this year for the first time as last year I decided to join with the South West team, but figured that as Subi is my home church now, I would go with them.
Much fun and sport was had by all and we even won a few events. Well I suppose it was more than a few as out of almost 20 churches we came second. Yays! Beaten only by Pulse (Thornlie), but it was a great weekend.
I decided to be slack and spent the weekend wandering around and taking photos while catching up with friends that I hadn’t seen for awhile.

Even tho that was all good, I have to admit the best part of the weekend was getting to go back to Busselton for a day and a half. It was so good to be able to catch up with the Busso crew.
Monday night was orphans night, just like when I lived down there (orphans night is run at the Cameron’s fortnightly for us people who live out of home). I even got a fantastic massage from Fi who seems to be going all out with the massage and even has a portable massage bed.

Tuesday morning I got up nice and early and went on my own dawn shoot down at the jetty. I figured I am hardly down in Busso so I might as well make the most of it.
So glad I did. I think I managed to get some of the best photos I have taken so far.
