Wish everyone could be a happy as I am right now. I have finally met the girl of my dreams, and she is actually real!
She is absolutely amazing and perfect in every way.
Cant wait to spend the rest of my life with her (yes, thats right, marriage even!)
Look forward to introducing you all to her.

The death of one site spawns the birth of a new one.
Well LJ has given me a good 6 and a bit years, but I have decided it is time to move on. So it is with a little sorrow I say good bye to LJ, and say hello to my new blog at www.noodlez.com.au
I may put the odd update here now and then, but most stuff will now be on my other blog.
Once i have a syndicated feed, I will let you all know, as then you can add that blog to your lj as well and not miss out when I make important posts :)

Crazy, hilarious, insane, captivating, comedian and fantastic.
I don't think words can explain just how awesome last night was getting to see him live.
For those of you who are ignorant, I tell you to go and watch Black Books.
For those of you who know who he is, you should have gone to see him! I think that was one of the best comedy shows I have ever seen, and don't think there is going to be much that can top it.
Before it started, I really wasn't sure what to expect, but as he walked out on stage with a glass of wine and lit up a cigarette, it felt like I was at home with a favourite uncle telling me stories. A crazy Irish uncle, yet still extremely cool.
It was all so familiar, yet all so new.

This would have to be one of the most awesome short animations I have ever seen. Ever. So awesome that I am surprised that the interwebs has not imploded from having something so awesome on it.

Takes a little while to buffer, but if you have any geek (and maybe a little retro) blood in you, then it should be oh so worth it.
My tip is to wait after the credits too as there is a little something else.
If only this could really happen... :)

Well, I suppose it is about time that I get around to writing about my weekend. I had meant to do it earlier, but this week has been flat out and am only finally getting the chance to do it now.
First things first, the Blues and Roots festival was absolutely fantastic! I had an absolute ball, tho it was tiring, I would do it again tomorrow.
Having a media pass was pretty good. Didn't have to worry about getting a good spot in the crowd to be able to see as I was right at the front between the stage and the crowd, so i only had to fight for a spot with other photographers, which wasn't all that bad :) Plus we had our own little media area where we could sit down and chill which was great. Plus there were free drinks all day, both days, which most others took advantage of as most of it was alcohol.
So much to write about, so I think I will just put a list of highlights for the weekend.
- Ben Harper!!
- Met Missy Higgins. She even signed my bag.
- Finally saw Wolfmother perform live
- Met Angus and Julia Stone
- Enjoyed the back stage BBQ organised by Triple J
- Met Sid from The Vasco Era
- John Mayer = awesome
- Met Bob Evans
It was all just so good!
For anyone who is interested, there are a bunch of pics at Perthnorg which is who i was there shooting for, here.
I also found out during the week that my flickr site was linked to here at enjoyperth.
And there is also a right up of the weekend from Perthnorg for day 1 and day 2.

Well, its definitely confirmed now. I am shooting the West Coast Blues and Roots music festival this coming weekend.
I sooo cant wait!!
I get to go in for free, see bands I love and have wanted to see live for ages (Wolfmother, Gomez, Blue King Brown) and take photos of them, and done have to worry about being shoved and pushed and everything else that happens in the crowd as I will be between them and the stage. Talk about awesome!! :)
Going to be pretty full on, but will be great.
And tomorrow is GO3, so that would be interesting. I have managed to get in on fri so I dont have worry about thousands of 'normal' people running and being generally 'newbish'. Just trade and well behaved people :)

Its times like this that I realise that I left more than I thought behind in Busselton than I orginally realised.
But then I guess, even if I went back, it wouldnt be there anymore anyways. People have changed, moved on.
I guess I will just have to keep looking and hope that I can find it again. Sooner rather than later would be nice.

I'm sick of being on the outside looking in.
It seems I am always kept at arms length.
I dont understand.
*sigh*
Maybe it is just one of those years.
